Picard type theorems concerning certain small functions

Let f(z) be a meromorphic function in the complex plane, whose zeros have multiplicity at least k + 1(k ≥ 2). If sin z is a small function with respect to f(z), then f~(k)(z)-P(z) sin z has infinitely many zeros in the complex plane, where P(z) is a nonzero polynomial of deg(P(z)) ≠ 1.     

分担集合的亚纯函数的正规性*

本文研究了亚纯函数及其 k 阶导数分担两个不同集合的亚纯函数族的正规性问题.证明了如下结论: 设 F 是平面区域 D上的亚纯函数族, 其中函数的零点重数至少为 k+1. 设S₁, S₂是两个集合,且|S₁|=m, |S₂|=n, S₂ ≠ 0, 这里m, n是正整数. 如果任意f(z) ∈ F,满足f(z) ∈ S₁?f^(k)(z) ∈ S₂, z ∈ D, 则 F 在区域 D 上正规.本文的研究结果是对刘晓俊和庞学诚[刘晓俊, 庞学诚. 分担值与正规族 [J].数学学报(中文版),2007, 50(2):409--412] 2007年研究结果的改进.     

An improvement of the Nevanlinna-Gundersen theorem

A well-known result of Nevanlinna states that for two nonconstant meromorphic functions f and g on the complex plane C and for four distinct values aj∈C∪{∞}, if νf−aj=νg−aj for all 1?j?4, then g is a Möbius transformation of f. In 1983, Gundersen generalized the result of Nevanlinna to the case where the above condition is replaced by: min{νf−aj,1}=min{νg−aj,1} for j=1,2 and νf−aj=νg−aj for j=3,4. In this paper, we prove that the theorem of Gundersen remains valid to the case where min{νf−aj,1}=min{νg−aj,1} for j=1,2, and min{νf−aj,2}=min{νg−aj,2} for j=3,4. Furthermore, we work on the case where {aj} are small functions.     

A note on meromorphic convexity

We give examples of Stein domains D in C ² such that C ² ? D is either completely pluripolar or union of germs of (principal) hypersurfaces not intersecting D such that D fails to be meromorphically convex in C ². © 2011 WILEY‐VCH Verlag GmbH & Co. KGaA, Weinheim     

Growth of meromorphic solutions of linear difference equations

In this paper, the authors continue to study the growth of meromorphic solutions of homogeneous or non-homogeneous linear difference equations with entire coefficients, and obtain some results which are improvement and extension of previous results in Chiang and Feng (2008) [7] and Laine and Yang (2007) [19]. Examples are also given to illustrate the sharpness of our results.     

On meromorphic solutions of nonlinear partial differential equations of first order

We prove a uniqueness theorem in terms of value distribution for meromorphic solutions of a class of nonlinear partial differential equations of first order, which shows that such solutions f are uniquely determined by the zeros and poles of f−cj (counting multiplicities) for two distinct complex numbers c₁ and c₂.

Exact solutions of the generalized Bretherton equation

The generalized Bretherton equation is studied. The Bäcklund transformations between traveling wave solutions of the generalized Bretherton equation and solutions of polynomial ordinary differential equation are constructed. The classification problem for meromorphic solutions of the latter equation is discussed. Several new families of exact solutions for the generalized Brethenton equation are given.     

Radically distributed value and normal families of meromorphic functions

We establish several upper-bound estimates for the growth of meromorphic functions with radially distributed value. We also obtain a normality criterion for a class of meromorphic functions, where any two of whose differential polynomials share a non-zero value. Our theorems improve some previous results.
